Westminster Academy® Lunch Program
2010-11

 

PREPAID LUNCH PROGRAM

Our prepaid lunch program will be offered again for the 2010-2011 school year. To participate in the prepaid lunch program, please follow the directions on ParentWeb.

If you prefer to have your student's food choices restricted to the healthy selections menu, that information will be noted with the lunchroom cashier.

*Your child's prior year lunch balance must be paid in full prior to the first day of school in order to participatein the lunch program. If you have any questions, please contact Matt Weissman at 954-771-4600, ext. 2476, or email him at weissmanm@wacad.edu.

Pre-K and Kindergarten


A hot lunch program will be available to Pre-K and Kindergarten students. To participate in the prepaid lunch program, please follow the directions on ParentWeb.

Week One

Monday Spaghetti/meatball, salad, bread, fruit
Tuesday Grilled cheese, chicken noodle soup, crackers, fruit
Wednesday Hamburger or turkey sandwich, pretzels, veggie and dip, fruit (circle entree)
Thursday Chicken nuggets, tater tots, green beans, fruit
Friday Cheese quesadillas, rice/beans, fruit


Week Two

Monday Mac and cheese, veggies and dip, fruit
Tuesday Fish sticks, cheese and crackers, fruit
Wednesday Cheese pizza or turkey sandwich, fruit (circle entree)
Thursday Grilled chicken on bun, veggies, fruit
Friday Hot dog, broccoli/cheese, fruit


The cost of each meal is $3
We no longer accept cash. You must sign-up for the prepaid lunch plan via ParentWeb.


GRADE 1


School lunches for Grade 1 will have the same hot entree as the lower school. The price for these lunches is $3.50 and includes milk.


Lower School - Grades 2-5


A monthly menu is posted in the calendar section of the web page. Each day there will be a choice of entrees. School lunches for the elementary grades will have the same hot entree as the secondary school, but slightly smaller portions. The price for these lunches is $4.50 and includes milk.


Upper School - Grades 6-12


It is our desire to offer a reasonably priced, nutritious, and appealing lunch menu to our students. Selections from a hot lunch menu and a deli bar are available.

Each day there will be a choice of entrees. The price for these meals will be $4.50. The deli bar includes items such as sandwiches, salads, pizza, etc. Drinks may be purchased through the serving areas. A variety of ice cream offerings is also available.

*Students who wish to bring their lunch from home are welcome to do so. Microwaves will not be available to students.

*Fresh Fruit Cups $1.50
Yogurt $1.25
A la Carte: $1.50 - French fries
  $1.75 - cheese fries (when available)
Drinks: $1.00 - Gatorade, Snapple (Grades 6-12)
  $ .75 - carton drinks: Fruit2O, chocolate/white milk (2% milk)
  $1.25 - Bottled water
