About the play:

Godspell, written by John-Michael Tebelak, is a joyful celebration of the Gospel, as told by St. Matthew. It is a religious experience to be enjoyed by all age groups. The Gospel, which means "good news" is brought to life by the exuberant cast using many theatrical devices such as pantomime, vaudeville, and creative drama. The music, which is a major part of the story and production, uses many styles ranging from folk, pop, rock, and musical comedy. The main theme of Godspellis to portray the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The final segment of the play makes a dramatic transition involving the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.

We hope this performance will have a strong impact upon you--the audience, and that the reality of Jesus Christ will be shown throughout.
