2013 Dinner Auction

Catch the WAve was a fantastic evening!

March 2, 2013 was truly a wonderful night for Westminster Academy. The annual dinner auction took place at the Global Grille in First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale. There were over 225 silent auction items for our 180 guests to bid on and the WA jazz band kept the room buzzing with energy as they performed live music.  The theme of  “Catch the WAve” made the event extra special as many of our auction items revolved around surfing and guests wore their best beach attire. Our guests dined on hor dourves and then a delicious island style meal. WA junior, James Roldan gave a brief testimony of how his life has been greatly impacted since becoming a student at Westminster Academy and then performed 2 songs with his fellow classmates in the men's a cappella choir. Lamar Fisher yet again did a fantastic job serving as the live auctioneer as he auctioned off vacations, puppies, golf carts and more!

Westminster Academy was blessed to raise $120,000.00 thanks to our generous community of donors and supporters. We would be remised to not acknowledge the many business who generously donated items and of course our wonderful volunteers who without their help, the event would not have been possible. To God be the glory for this great thing He has done for us!
